5:17 pm - Help a fella out

quincunx
Help with this bet.

Because at 2 million hits, this guy gets to live out a dream that many guys have (assuming his girlfriend isn't a total bitch).

12:26 am - So a pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel in his crotch

quincunx
And the bartender says, "Whoa, you know you have a steering wheel on your crotch, right?"

The top 10 most dorky hobbies one can have

And the pirate says, "Arr, it's driving me nuts."

1:39 am - The Straight Man's Testicles Exploded

quincunx
In case anyone forgot our current terror level, there is now a handy monitoring system for our time of need. With it vacillating so much between yellow and orange, why shouldn't we just give up, concede that color-coding anxiety was a bad idea? Because then Bert and Ernie would have had a love-child. If you like that idea, shine on, you crazy diamond. Regardless:

11:07 am - Study Break

quincunx
Just go look at this. It will relax you, and make you see the lighter side of the fact that as long as you're literate and have some knowledge of where to get a page maker, you can make an internet website. Confused? Nervous? Scared? Oh, just go. It's short and sweet.

1:44 pm - Marriage is as sacred as a carrot

quincunx
Not that the title is a line from this article, but it's still worth reading. Talks about things America would have to get change or get rid of to make marriage a sacred institution.

Well, at least nuclear armageddon will be funny.

It's the End of the World as We Know It

If you're on a modem, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a lot of patience. It may take a while to load. It took a minute or so for me, and I'm on a T1. But, it is so worth the wait.

quincunx
Probably the premier page of "so bad it's good" web design.

The colors! The colors!

This is ostensibly an HP pro-Voldemort site. In actuality, the post-modern art web design combine with the utter incoherency to create something that should definitely be part of our collective culture.

Really pretty! English isn't the cartoonist's first language so verb forms and stuff are weird.

"I live a pair of floors up you"

Just things like that. Oh, and it's got britishisms so flat=apartment and lorry=truck. Out side of that it's a really charming comic.

Alright, it's not deranged, it's not porn, it's not so cute you'll develope diabetes, but it is good and you guys should at least give it a try.

Move over American Idol. Here comes American President:

A Rupert Murdoch TV game show that may choose the outcome of the next White House race!

Cable channel FX is set to mount an ambitious two-year endeavor that will culminate in the American public voting on -- a "people's candidate" to run for president of the United States in 2004!
